1. The meeting was called to order by the President at 9;15 A.M..

2. Roll Call of Officers: All members were present except Director Larry Ellis who had been excused. Director Danny O’Toole was absent.

3. Ron Sears made a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last meeting, seconded by Perry Hedstrom, as everyone had a copy. Motion passed.

4. The Secretary informed the board about the annual state meeting in Ocean Shores this year. Prices for dinner and other affairs were not available at the present time.

5. Committee Reports:

A. Hall of Fame Committee Chairman Perry Hedstrom reported that the name tags for the plaques are ready and he has the Hall of Fame rings. All he needs now is the pictures of the new electees.

B. Scholarship Committee member Bill Bachteler reported on the case of the misinformed applicant that will reach the age of 20 in December. He would have been eligible to bowl juniors this year and eligible for financial aid by the association had the junior program directors contacted USBC concerning the rule changes.

C. Tournament Committee Chairman Ron Sears reported that all the banners have been put up in the three houses, all sponsors are on board again and entry forms are slowly coming in to the office. Many bowlers still do not have their current membership cards And Ron reported that we will have to use the computer program to verify memberships.

6. Old Business:

A. The subject of the blue banners was turned over to the Public Relations Committee for action. They will try to locate the names of three eligible servicemen for the association to sponsor.

B. The Secretary reported that USBC still has the old recap sheets for tournament use and have not updated to forms for ink jet and laser printers.

7. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:43 A.M..

The President scheduled the annual membership meeting for January 7
